April's Fishing Report...
We have had an early spring. The water temps are 3 weeks ahead of normal. Stripers are hitting in the upper 15 feet of water. Shad has had a big recovery from the winter kill last year. They are easy to net on the flats. Remember to have a cast net permit and the limit is 100 per boat. More info next month.

Raystown water depth
Shallow water is really not an issue for general running on the lake, the average depth is 80 feet, and some have graphed depths upwards of 200 feet.
